A Masters rematch! I played against Jim at the top table of one of the New Dawn tournaments, where he beat my Wind Watchers Decension with his Shepherds of White Mesa Decension. In all honesty, I do not have a clear idea of what the Yuta trio do. Akuba would be the most difficult to kill as she had the Spirit Defence Ritual, and Jim had a number of ways to generate more models during the game.

This ignorance went both ways though, as Jim hasn't been playing Bushido in a while, and didn't know what any of my stuff does either. He was most surprised when Hiroto and Eldest Brother appeared. The duo immediately deleted a Yuta (Josei?) and Yugio.

Much to my surprise, my Itsiro Crab Swarm almost killed Eiko, I just failed the last damage roll. Sad times. There isn't a lot to say about this game, the Gashadokuro got bogged down fighting superior fighters, and Rokuro ended up stuck fighting the Kami of the Morning Dew. I didn't kill Akuba by the end of the game, not for lack of trying. I spent a lot of effort trying to kill Rokuro as I thought he was Jim's VIM. I had a heroic Kohanin pass all his Fear tests, and given that the rest of my warband is effectively Fearless, Feed on Fear did not trigger - it didn't even gain a counter.

I managed to use Disengage actions combined with Slam Attacks to put some distance between the Gashadokuro models and Eldest Brother/Minato. This gave me enough distance so interact with the objectives, even if the Gashadokuro could not be made Prone.

By the end of the game, I had scored 2 Victory Points by rotating objectives, and I thought that Jim had scored the one for the VIM as Rokuro was about 1" closer to my board edge than Hibiki. It was a pleasant surprise that Jim had actually chosen Akuba as his VIM, who was 1" further away than Hibiki. This marked my third 3-0, putting me at 27 tournament points.
